Seance, Automatic Writing 1869-1892

Séance is a phantasmagorical mystery setting and micro-RPG.

Kate Fox enables George and Sarah Taylor to speak to their dead children at nightly séances. They communicate through ghostly knocking sounds and Kate's mysterious automatic writing. One of the children was murdered by one of you.

Séance is a tiny setting,  a haunted Victorian parlor. It can be read stand-alone, or used as part of a larger RPG game. Séance is system agnostic and requires only a paper, pencil, and dice. 

Séance was created for the 2025 "Tiny World"  Game Jam.
